What our role is in your Miami charter

Miami Charter Jets is a charter broker and arranger. We do not own or fly aircraft. When you ask us for a private jet charter in Miami, we take your trip details and source an aircraft from a licensed operator.

The flight is sold and flown by a carrier holding FAA Part 135 authority. That carrier keeps operational control of the aircraft and the crew from departure to arrival. Decisions about routing, weather, crew duty and safety rest with that operator, not with us.

Quotes and what they cover

Every price we give you is an estimate. It is based on the aircraft, routing, passenger count and date you provide, and it is not final until the operator confirms availability and issues their own quote. Fuel, landing fees, crew and hangar costs move with the market and the schedule.

A quote can change if your trip details change: different airports, extra legs, more passengers, or a later departure. Treat the operator's confirmation as the binding figure, not the number in our first email.

Payment follows the operator's contract

When you accept a trip, the operator sends a charter agreement. Payment schedule, deposit, cancellation windows and refund rules come from that contract, and you agree to them when you sign. Read the cancellation terms before you pay, especially for holiday travel and peak season dates in Miami.

We can help you understand the paperwork and pass questions to the operator. We cannot override the operator's cancellation policy or waive fees on their behalf.

Taxes, fees and what the price includes

Quotes typically include the base charter rate, federal excise tax, segment fees and airport or terminal charges where applicable. Some items are separate: catering, ground transport, de-icing where relevant, international fees and crew overnight costs.

On international trips from Miami, such as Nassau, San Juan, Turks and Caicos or Cabo San Lucas, customs and immigration fees and any foreign permits may be billed separately. Ask for an itemized breakdown so you can compare trips on the same basis.

Weather, airports and schedule changes

South Florida summers are hot and humid, and density altitude at the Miami airports can climb to around 2,500 ft on a 115F day. That affects performance on shorter runways, and the operator may adjust fuel, payload or aircraft choice.

Thunderstorms, air traffic and crew duty limits can also move a departure time. When a change happens, the operator makes the call and notifies you. We stay in the loop and help with rebooking where we can. Delays outside anyone's control do not automatically trigger a refund.

Limitation of liability

We arrange transportation. We are not the carrier and we are not liable for the operation of the flight, including delays, diversions, injuries or damage to property that occur during the flight. Those matters are governed by the operator's contract and by federal law.

Our liability for our own arranging services is limited to the fees we receive for that booking. We carry no responsibility for the acts or omissions of the operator, the FBO or ground providers. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under applicable law.

If something goes wrong, tell us and tell the operator. For a private jet charter in Miami or anywhere else, the operator's charter agreement is the document that controls the trip.
